Our Smoked Ribs are absolutely wonderful.
Time: 8 Hours
Preparation: Remove silver skin and cut in 4 to 6 bone potion. Place on cookie sheet and season with salt, paper, olive oil, and garlic and onion powder. Cover with foil and place in fridge for 2 hours.
Step 1: Remove ribs from fridge and let sit at room temp until ready to put to heat.
Step 2: Preheat smoker to 180 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 3: Place ribs on racks and set timer for 3 hours.
Step 4: Remove from smoker, place foil on cookie sheet, place ribs on foil. Mix apple juice, apply cider vinegar, and coconut oil in bowl and mop onto meat side of ribs, flip and repeat on bone side. Wrap ribs with foil and place cookie sheet with ribs on heat (225) for 2 hours.
Step 5: remove from heat and unwrap foil from ribs. Use home made sauce and cover ribs. See other recipes for our different sauce options.
Step 6: place ribs on smoker at 225 and continue until sauce thickens and ribs hit an internal temp of 206.
Step 7: Remove from heat and let rest before serving.
We have multiple options for hamburgers and there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all; however, theses are full of flavor and juicy.
Step 1: round out 1/4 pound of ground beef and make into patty, placing on a cookie sheet. Indent the center to prevent raising while cooking.
Step 2: Season to taste with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder, cumin and chili powder, smoked paprika and dill. Use a spoon to add olive oil. Let rest for an hour or two.
Step 3: cook on high heat to capture those juices within the patty. You can move the patty to the outside or a place on your grill with lower heat for a longer cook. I personally just flip the patty a couple more times when I am cooking to a specific doneness.
Enjoy
One of our wood fire pizzas incorporates some of our left over pork shoulder that we smoked for 18 hours on our traeger pellet smoker using apple pellets and our home made apple whisky mop sauce, with cheese, an assortment of vegetables, and barbecue sauce. We baked our pizzas at 450 to 500 degrees using our new little fire burning pizza oven. This was a great time with family and friends.
